Stantec volunteer at Keau’ohana –June 8
For the second consecutive year, volunteers from Stantec joined Hawaii
Environmental Restoration in Keauʻohana as part of their annual Stantec in the Community Week. It was inspiring to learn more about the sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting services they provide, as well as their globally coordinated week of community service supporting local causes near each of their offices. We were honored that HER was selected as one of the beneficiaries of their community-centered efforts.
It was a beautiful day in the forest, with volunteers helping to remove and compost invasive plants while contributing to the ongoing restoration of this remarkable native ecosystem.
The Stantec team shared: “It was an incredible opportunity to connect our values to action, supporting
native ecosystem restoration while learning directly from those who care for this land every day.”
Our crew—and the Keauʻohana forest itself—are deeply grateful for the aloha, care, and hard work that each volunteer shared with us.
